I think members should be required to contribute something of value to the credit clearing house in order to establish a balance. Be it a physical good (perhaps some one of the currency basket items), or a certificate of service (professional or labor) to be redeemed at a later date. In either case, it would become an asset of the clearing house, allowing the printing of further money/creation of further credit. Additionally, members MUST have a publicly viewable reputation score. The major disadvantage of barter is trust and unfamiliarity. The reputation score would mitigate against that, as well as provide an excellent source of advertisement.

Where is the software that combines these elements???
