I believe that as a young man Henry Swabey was associated with the early Social Credit movement. An article by him on the subject of usury and interest can be found in the late 1930s social credit publication “The Fig Tree”.

I look forward to reading this. The irony is that as a relative I’ve been working in similar areas of business and theology. Maybe there’s a genetic fascination with the interplay of both ?
