Who is interfering with whom?

Virginia State Senator Richard Black addressed the June 30, 2018 Schiller Institute conference via video. In his presentation titled, The True Interest of the United States, Senator Black, a combat veteran, argued that “U.S. foreign policy in Iraq, Libya, Syria and elsewhere in South-West Asia, …has spawned huge armies of terrorists,” and in no way benefits the interests of the American people.

And a vintage article by William Blum, recently republished by Global Research, highlights the hypocrisy of U.S. government officials and the media in blasting Russia for their alleged interference in the U.S. political process, while the U.S. government has a long and sordid history of extreme interference in other countries. I count 55 instances in William Blum’s list of “the United States overthrowing, or attempting to overthrow, a foreign government since the Second World War.” See it here:  Overthrowing Other People’s Governments: The Master List of U.S. “Regime Changes.” –t.h.g.

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts explains the geopolitical facts of life

This video featuring Dr. Paul Craig Roberts is a “must view.” Roberts, who was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy under Ronald Reagan, explains very clearly how Greece was lured into its present predicament and made a “colony of the EU.”

If the Greek economy is to be rebuilt and some measure of Greek independence restored, ways must be found to create domestic liquidity independent of the global banking system . Domestic currencies might be issued by the national government or by regional governments, or liquidity could be created by private enterprises in the form of private currencies or credit clearing exchanges. I’ve explained in detail how this can be done in my article, 50 Ways to Leave the Euro.

Looking beyond Greece, Roberts speaks about inflation and unemployment and the true state of the U.S. economy, as well as U.S. foreign policy and the causes of the current geopolitical crisis.

Other important videos to watch are:
Max Keiser’s December 22 interview of Roberts, where he talks about Trump’s cabinet picks and relations with Russia, and
Michel Chossudovsky’s take on the “sweeping measures taken [against Russia] by Obama on December 29.”

Syria, Russia and the New World Order

Americans have been taught to not trust the Russians. And there is good reason to not trust them given the history of the cold war. But the American people also have good reason to not trust our own politicians, either. Democrat or Republican, the same agenda is pushed forward, an agenda that further centralizes power at the top of the political pyramid, concentrates ever more wealth in the hands of a small global elite, and pushes the world ever closer to a global feudal and fascist society in which the trappings of democratic government remain but the substance of popular self-rule has been thoroughly torn out.

I’ve often wondered when the American people, as well as the rest of the world, would say, “enough!” Perhaps that time has arrived. I wonder what went on behind the scenes that has caused the US administration to back  down on its threats to attack Syria. Is it the lack of support from the American people? Is it the lack of support from Britain and our other allies? Is it resistance from Russia, China, and other governments that have not yet been co-opted, coerced, or otherwise brought into alignment with the agenda of the New World Order?

It’s probably all of these, as well as, perhaps some cracks developing within the ranks of the elite itself. In a remarkable turn of events, Russian President Vladimir Putin was allowed to address the American people directly in that icon of American media, The New York Times. In his op-ed that was published on Wednesday, September 11, Putin called for a reasoned approach to the problems of Syria and of the entire middle-east, saying, “We are not protecting the Syrian government, but international law.”

You can read the entire article here: A Plea for Caution From Russia, What Putin Has to Say to Americans About Syria.

If the American government truly believes in the rule of law, then let it submit to that rule.
